Moving from Reactive to Proactive Security. – Sami Laiho
Gartner has said that one of the most needed changes in enterprise security is to move to a least privilege approach, whitelisting of applications and overall proactive security. Microsoft said in February 2017 that in 2016 over 90% of all security threats against Windows and Office would have been mitigated by moving to proactive security. In year 2016 all major antimalware companies reported around 300000 new malware samples EVERY DAY! Do you really need more convincing that you need to go Proactive as well?
Accelerate Your Windows 10 Deployment. – Jerome Barnes
Is your organization preparing for the next major OS migration to Windows 10? Do you recall your last Windows migration? Was it painful? If it was, you are not alone.
Most migrations are arduous and lengthy projects that put a strain on resources, strangle bandwidth and impact user productivity. It doesn’t have to be that way. Your migration can be simplified, you just need to automate it. Implementing an on-demand Windows strategy will:
- Reduce infrastructure and in turn reduce cost and time to completion.
- Provide a zero-impact, seamless experience for end-users.
- Rationalize existing applications to determine which need to be migrated.
In this session, we will discuss how to automate Windows 10 migrations across all scenarios, including the most complex like BIOS-UEFI and disk encryption.
Securing Mobile Devices in the Enterprise. – Alfred Ojukwu
Mobility has become key for productivity in the enterprise. As companies adopt and deploy Microsoft Intune to manage their Office 365 mobile apps, they will be increasingly looking to bring their internal and 3rd party apps the same level of data protection. Microsoft Intune is the “management arm” of the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) that helps in achieving just that. Enterprise mobility is all about enabling employees to be productive on all of their devices while keeping your organization’s information protected. Join us as we explore hybrid identity and access management (Azure Active Directory Premium), Microsoft device and application management (Intune), and information protection (Azure Information Protection [AIP]).
